Chapter 1 for Outlawyer, an upcoming visual novel set in Purgatory during World War 1, Take the role of Ned Kelly, former Australian outlaw turned lawyer, and the fallen angel Azazel, his partner and apprentice, as you help save souls from eternal damnation, while uncovering a mystery of biblical proportions! 



Consisting of the first chapter of the game, consisting of the trial of Tsar Nicholas, and is meant to introduce the basic premise, gameplay, characters, and story.  Use evidence, logic, and your wits to prove your opponent wrong and save the emperor! There's promise here. There is a great idea here and you seem to have a story to tell. What you need is polish and editors. The text has occasional minor issues, and the voice acting needs editing and occasionally direction. Many a line had strange pauses in the delivery and the sound levels were unbalanced between characters and occasionally out of whack. The page breaking also needs work, some lines are clearly split when they shouldn't be. This can all be fixed with more resources. Keep at it, you will get there.

Really cool ace-attorney like visual novel! The premise is very interesting and I learned more than I expected about the Russian emperor and WWI. Great voice acting and the art, character designs and UI are really well done. I'm sorry I didn't have time to experience the full chapter but what I got to play was entertaining and intriguing. Great work and I hope you have success with the kickstarter!
